Preserving private and government bus memorabilia from our past

There is something undeniably magical about the smell of vintage diesel, the distinct rumble of an old-school engine, and the gleam of a beautifully restored chassis. For decades, buses have been the unsung heroes of our communities—moving generations of people to school, work, and adventures.
At Taylor’s Transit, we don’t just see old buses; we see living history. As a premier historic bus preservation society, our mission is to rescue, restore, and maintain these mechanical marvels so future generations can experience the golden age of public transport by bus. But we can’t keep the wheels turning alone. Whether you are a lifelong gearhead, a transport buff, or someone who loves community heritage, there is a place for you in our museum!

At Taylors Transit, our mission is to preserve the bygone eras of public transport within NSW, from multiple government and private bus scenes. We feel it is important to showcase the history of transport for future generations to enjoy.

Experience the rich history of NSW's public transportation with our heritage buses. We offer guided experiences that showcase vintage buses and the evolution of transit services. Many companies turn to Taylor's Transit to provide historic vehicles for depot open days, retirement ceremonies, staff parties and many more events.

Whilst what we do at the heart of Taylor's Transit involves restoring buses from the past, we are always looking forward to the future and keeping up to date with modern transit systems.
